Discover the historical seaside cave shelters along Porto Cristo's coastlne.
Situated on the southern coastline near Porto Cristo harbor, the Coves Blanques are natural sea-facing chambers. Unlike the paid show caves, these chambers do not have stalactites or lit pools. They represent a unique cultural stop, as early fisherman families used them as shelters and storage zones before Porto Cristo developed into a town.
The walk is a path you should stroll along if you are looking for a free, uncommercialized activity near Porto Cristo. The flat gravel path follows the edge of the cliffs, offering excellent sea views of the eastern coast.
Walk east from the main Porto Cristo beach along the coastal street Calle de Falconera. Follow the signs marking the coastal walking path. The caves are open to the public at all hours, but the trail is best explored during daylight.
