This general admission ticket provides direct entry to the Caves of Génova, the smallest and most accessible show cave system in Mallorca. Situated in the residential suburbs of Palma, these caves are famous for their rare magnesium clusters (*coraloires*) that coat the rock walls, displaying unique shapes. The self-guided tour descends 36 meters below the surface. This is a quick and convenient option for families and travelers staying in Palma who want to see beautiful limestone structures without taking a full-day coastal excursion.
Note: Sturdy footwear is a must to traverse the slipery steps safely.
The caves are open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The ticket box office is located inside the Ses Coves restaurant on Carrer del Barranc, 45, Palma. You can reach the location easily using Palma EMT Bus Line 46.
The descent consists of narrow, damp, and steep spiral stone staircases. Wear closed-toe non-slip shoes to prevent sliding on the damp steps. This is what you should be careful of. The descent is unsuitable for strollers or travelers with reduced mobility.
